BNRacing, a modern multifunctioning motorsport company, based in Chicago with presence across the globe. A company founded in 2007 based at the PF International Kart circuit in the UK, fast forward over 13 years and now based in the United States, can boast prestigious results and championships all around the world.
Immersed in his father’s motorsport at a very early age, Bryn Nuttall’s passion for racing started early. As an engineering enthusiast, Bryn gained a degree in Motorsport Technology while racing karts himself. After leaving University he worked in a senior management position at a local university and to continue his passion, worked in his spare time for some of the biggest and most successful factories, kart teams and drivers in the world of karting, including many British, European and current World Championship winning teams.
The formation of BNRacing, saw the company as a kart team competing at highly competitive British Championships and select European & World championship events. Alongside the kart team, BNRacing was assisting Valteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonens former kart team PDB Racing, in all major European & World Karting events working with Manuel Renaudie as their factory driver and as the teams data acquisition engineer.
As the years went by, BNRacing added management, coaching and consultation services. Travelling across the globe, with particular success in the Middle East, Asia and the United States. Working with several Ex F1 drivers along the way in many different roles, Gerhard Berger, Max Papis, Alex Yoong, Juan Pablo Montoya to name a few.
Another unique part of BNRacing is the relationship with Ogden Motorsport in the UK. Bryn’s relationship with Steve Ogden goes back a long way, first walking through his facilities doors in the late 90’s to buy an Ital Sistem 100cc MV1 engine, many years later would see Bryn become an integral part of the Ogden success, working for Steve in many capacities both in the workshop & dyno facility and trackside offering technical support. The results list over these years included British, European and World Championship titles.
The 2015 season saw one of the major highlights of the company, competing at the famous Le Mans circuit in France, saw the team take home the Junior X30 World Championship. Dominating the whole event, pole position, winning all five heats, pre-final and the final. More major x30 titles would follow in 2016, the Europa Championships and many wins across North America.
After his father’s years in racing cars, Bryn’s education in Motorsport Technology at University, coupled with contacts and skills learnt along the way, it was always on the horizon that the company would at some point transition into the racing car world.
BNRacing burst onto the ‘Road to Indy’ scene in 2017. in a partial season in USF2000 that included some headline results. Fast forward less than 3 years and BNRacing has become an established front running team, with poles, fastest laps, race wins and can boast a very unique feat of achieving podiums across all 3 tiers of the Road to Indy. Stand out performances include; debut podiums in all classes, dominating the 2018 Road America event (with double 1-2 and a team total of 5 podiums at a single event) and then leading our first attempt at the prestigious Freedom 100 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, our very first experience on a ‘Super Speedway’
